On March 16th 2015 Mittelbayerische Zeitung, as one of the first local newspapers, launched a responsive website. Besides the newsportal, Einhorn Solutions rethought, redesigned and implemented design and content of the “Subscription & Sales”, “Ads” and “About Us” sections.
In the course of an intense work process, that involved all of the media company’s departments, a web site emerged that clearly puts the user and his needs in focus. Several approaches were tried out while the project progressed and were tested as functional prototypes, in an realistic development environment with responsive behavior from the start on.
Holger Schellkopf, assistant editor-in-chief and head of the relaunch: ”Welcome to the future. Consistent quality in a new dimension.“
The team of Einhorn Solutions executed, in co-operation with DUNDW, the entire development including front-end coding. In intense exchange with the publishing house’s longstanding backend service provider nbsp the renewed concept got implemented using Sitefusion and then brought on air.
For the loyal teamwork on this large-scale project we give thanks to Peter Zinnbauer Mittelbayerische Medienfabrik, Mario Kandler und Martin Heiß of nbsp GmbH and furthermore our fellow colleagues at CeleraOne (Paywall), among others.
