In a redesign process lasting nine months the EINHORN team, together with the editorial department and publishing company, gave the Freie Presse a new appearance as of October 29, 2010. The familiar arrangement was kept and combined with a contemporary, fresh look. The ideal reading experience was ascertained in numerous typographic and color proofs. The positive response from readers is due to these fine adjustments in particular.
The advertising section has also received a clearer structure and been refreshed. Just like for the main part of the newspaper, a stylebook was drawn up to maintain a uniform look for this section.
In addition to conceiving and developing the design the EINHORN team held layout seminars for the editorial department and supported the technical implementation and hot relaunch phase on site.
